About Us
Mae & Monk
Miss Amanda Mae and Mr. Monk are a happily married couple who loves to work together and is working hard for a more sustainable life.
Our Story
We both grew up in Victoria, and we have a little urban homestead. It is our goal to help encourage sustainability while also surviving the world we live in.
We make or grow almost 100% of our products. Everything else we try to source locally when possible. We are always looking to expand product lines and learn new skills
Right now we do not have a brick and mortar space, but we are excited to be at local events, and bring things to you around town!
We are also involved with community outreach and working to bring mutual aid to the Victoria area.
Mr. Monk
He is better known as Josh, or Monkey. He is the master of mixing scents and making soaps. He is often found working in the garden or working on new products in his work shop.
Miss Amanda Mae
Amanda Mae crochets all of our crochet items and helps create many of the other products. She is also active in seed saving and gardening.
Mae & Monk
We’ve been married since 2015 but have been friends for over 20 years. We are always happiest when we work together. We collaborate on all of our products and are true creatures of comfort.
We are always up to something!
If we are not at an event selling our soaps, we are making new products, growing something, or working on building community and sustainability.
